view from Maryon Park the Thames at Charlton, c. 1900. Siemen's factory,
where submarine cables were manufactured, is clearly visible, as is
a three masted ship on the left. The Thames Barrier now crosses the
river at this point. The school on the right, now an annexe of Woolwich
College was originally Maryon Park School.
